Get ready to paint the town garnet and black — the USC Black Alumni Family and Friends Homecoming Tailgate is back for 2026, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Presented by the USC Black Alumni HOCO Committee, this beloved annual tradition brings together USC Black Alumni, professional organizations, athletic groups, and Gamecock supporters for an unforgettable pre-game celebration ahead of the Gamecocks vs. Texas A&M Aggies showdown on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Just like the old days — except this time, skipping class isn’t a concern. Come dressed in your best tailgating attire and prepare to enjoy:

• Incredible food  from the talented Wild Childz
• Refreshing beverages to keep the energy going
• Live DJ sets featuring some of the best DJs in the city
• Genuine fellowship with fellow Gamecocks, alumni, and friends

There is truly no finer way to set the tone for Homecoming than surrounded by your community, doing what Gamecocks do best — having an extraordinary time together.

Please note: A wristband is required for entry to the tailgate area. If you are not connected to a tailgating group that provides wristband access, you can secure yours directly through this page. Ticket options are available at an accessible starting price, with an upscale all-inclusive tier offering enhanced food and beverage perks for those looking to elevate the experience.

Donations:

Mix and Mingle Donation: $30 includes admission to the event. Food and drink are available for purchase, or if you are nice, you may be able to get yourself a plate from one of the tailgate hosts.

Upscale All-inclusive Donation: $60 includes admission to the park, a food ticket (Wild Childz), and 2 beverage tickets @ Crescent Moon bar

Additionally, event parking is available at the rear of the venue and can be secured in advance — general parking is not available within the tailgating area, so plan accordingly.

This event also serves as a fundraiser supporting a meaningful cause connected to the USC Black Alumni community. Your participation makes a difference beyond the tailgate itself.
